In 2021, during the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow, the world witnessed a moment of great disappointment. World leaders failed to unite and secure the concrete commitments needed on fossil fuels and climate finance. The outcome fell short of the “giant leap” required to meet global climate goals — leaving the most vulnerable nations exposed to the harshest consequences.
This failure deeply troubled me. Why couldn’t world leaders come together for the future of our planet? Where were the barriers? Everyone knows that protecting Earth demands open dialogue, compromise, and a shared sense of responsibility. Yet, instead of standing united for the sake of future generations, division prevailed.
At the same time, in daily life, I kept noticing countless careless acts of environmental neglect around me. These experiences struck me at the core. They pushed me to reflect: What solutions can we create? How can we truly protect Earth so that future generations inherit a healthier, more sustainable world?
The thought became clear — we need a movement that people can follow not just for one generation, but for many generations to come.
The Founder’s Message
“We don’t inherit the Earth from our ancestors — we borrow it from our children.”
This saying has always stayed with me. If we truly love our children — and their children — then we must return the Earth to them in a condition where life, beauty, and opportunity can thrive.
But here’s the challenge: adults are already set in their ways. Habits built over decades are hard to break. Real change must start earlier.
That’s why I founded Earth Extend.
Our mission is simple yet powerful:

- To nurture Earth-consciousness as a way of life — not just a subject learned in school.
- To work hand in hand with parents, schools, and communities so that living sustainably becomes second nature.
